The project task encompassed two units: 1) partial reconstruction and extension of an existing building, and 2) construction of two new residential buildings and a covered ground floor garage. The newly built structures are situated adjacent to the existing building, forming a single macro unit. One of the new residential buildings has an underground level (basement), while both buildings comprise five above-ground levels.

All structures are built using a solid construction system (reinforced concrete and masonry) and shallow foundations. The buildings have foundation slabs, while the walls and columns of the garage rest on strip foundations. The road surface is made of cast asphalt (without a foundation slab).

Reinforced concrete (RC) walls and ceilings are a combination of semi-prefabricated ("hollow-core" walls, i.e., precast "filigree" floor slabs) and conventional solid RC elements constructed entirely on-site. A large number of masonry walls were constructed using ISOSPAN building blocks made of wood chips and cement, which provide a range of advantages compared to traditional concrete or clay blocks (significantly better CO2 balance, insulation, fire resistance, etc.). All staircases were reinforced and cast in-situ.
