In statics, as in life, the most important thing is balance...

- Marina V. Ćetković, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade

We create project-specific static and dynamic calculations for various design stages of your construction project. This is done while considering all relevant standards and regulations.

Our structural calculations can be formally structured with the goal of being checked or verified by external parties, such as regulatory authorities or independent reviewers. These calculations typically undergo a thorough review process to ensure their accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. On the other hand, we can also provide you with less formal or detailed calculations that might be used for preliminary analysis or internal purposes. These calculations may not undergo the same rigorous review process as the verifiable designs, but they still serve as a basis for decision-making in the planning process.

However, the output will in both cases include a complete analysis of all influences and loads, all necessary static and dynamic calculations of load-bearing components, confirmations of stability and usability, etc.

An important part of the project is the graphical documentation in the form of key plans, which are an essential part of every civil engineering calculation, illustrations of complex details, assembly sketches, and the like.

Rebar Detailing

Rebar Detailing

Reinforcement drawings represent important execution plans in reinforced concrete construction, necessary for the accurate depiction of the prescribed arrangement of reinforcement steel in concrete structural elements. They serve as the most tangible means of communication between the structural engineer and the site manager. These drawings encompass all the information required for bending and placing the reinforcement and are prepared based on formwork plans, key plans, and structural calculations.

All our drawings are meticulously created in strict accordance with the regulations and provisions of the Eurocodes, which are the ten European standards specifying how structural design should be conducted within the European Union (EU). Special attention is given to the reinforcement of concrete elements in seismically active areas (earthquake-prone regions).

The swift creation of high-quality plans is facilitated by the use of the latest software solutions and a modern planning approach. Individual steel bars are directly placed within the 3D model of the formwork, significantly enhancing the accuracy of the drawings. Isometric views can further clarify complicated details and make them more comprehensible.

Formwork Detailing

Formwork Detailing

Formwork is a temporary structure made of wood, metal, or a combination of various materials into which the reinforcement is placed, and concrete is poured. This is the way reinforced concrete (RC) components obtain their desired permanent shape.

Formwork plans are detailed plans that show the precise location and dimensions of all RC components in the ground plan and in a sufficient number of cross-sections. They also serve as a basis for creating reinforcement plans. The possibilities for subsequent corrections of any errors after the concrete has set are very limited and can be very costly. Therefore, the importance of clear and error-free plans is evident.

Their content is often expanded with elements that strictly speaking do not fall under the traditional definition of formwork plans, such as load-bearing masonry walls, steel elements, etc. Such plans contain all the information necessary for the creation of the load-bearing structural shell, and there is no need to supplement them later on.

Our formwork drawings are derived from a 3D model created in direct and close collaboration with all those involved in the project. The application of such an approach to problem-solving ensures a high-quality product through our teamwork, communication, and coordination abilities.

Precast Elements

Precast Elements

Precast elements are components that are manufactured in factories or other specialized production facilities and then transported and placed in their final position on the construction site.

Our team consists of knowledgeable professionals who create precise and detailed plans for precast reinforced concrete (RC) elements. We carefully consider the specific requirements and standards for the production, transportation, and installation of these elements. We place great importance on ensuring that our plans ensure accurate production and assembly.

Our plans include all the necessary information to enable precise manufacturing of RC precast components. This includes detailed markings, dimensions, materials, and connections between all parts of the whole. We ensure that all relevant aspects, such as load-bearing capacity, stability, and durability, are taken into account during our work.

Furthermore, we closely examine the interfaces with other trades to ensure that the precast elements can be seamlessly integrated into the overall structure. This involves collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure the coordination and integration of all construction processes.

Steel Detailing

Steel Detailing

Structural steel offers versatile solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Our goal is to provide you with high-quality structural steel shop drawings that not only comply with relevant standards and regulations but also meet your specific requirements.

Our fabrication drawings, general arrangement plans, and erection drawings include comprehensive information crucial for the successful implementation of the structure. This includes component markings, accurate specifications for necessary connections, dimensions of the components, materials used, and more. We ensure that all relevant aspects, such as load-bearing capacity, stability, and cost-effectiveness, are carefully considered in our design process.

We place great emphasis on optimizing the planning and ensuring a seamless realization of your projects. Based on our 3D model and workshop drawings, we can also create a bill of materials, enabling efficient cost control and material procurement. Steel detailers play an essential role, serving as a vital link between other professionals involved in the project.

By utilizing state-of-the-art software and our knowledge in the field of structural steel design, we can offer tailored solutions that meet both the functional and the aesthetic aspects of the project requirements.

Digitizing

Digitizing

Do your specialists lack digital blueprints as a basis for designing expansions, renovations, or restorations? Or perhaps you have old paper plans of monuments and historically significant buildings? These valuable documents provide essential insights into the design, construction, and historical significance of these structures, but they are susceptible to deterioration over time due to factors such as handling, environmental conditions, and the limited lifespan of materials.

If you indeed possess paper blueprints or scanned drawings saved in image format, we can gladly digitize them for you. This process not only protects the plans from potential loss or damage but also allows for easier access, sharing, and archiving.

Scanning, vectorizing, and manually post-processing paper drawings is a laborious, inefficient process that often yields unsatisfactory results. We completely redraw your plans - cost-effective, well-organized, and of the highest quality. Through this precise process, detailled and dimensionally accurate CAD files are created, which can then be further edited in any common CAD software. Upon request, we can also incorporate your office-specific requirements, such as layer structure, line types and thickness, hatching, and text styles, etc.
